This section highlights a collection of work completed during my Master’s coursework in Design Management. The projects reflect a strong focus on Human-Centered Design (HCD), combining strategic thinking with creative execution. Throughout the course, I engaged in a variety of activities including in-depth research, ethnographic studies, and the facilitation of several collaborative HCD sessions. The work also involved storytelling through video production and multimedia, all grounded in real-world user insights. eSports - Building A Social Network

Project Goals

Our social network is to be used as a resource and networking group for eSports participants, hopefuls, and collaborators. Our goal is to have members work with one another and to be a reliable source for information and inspiration. The visual representation should evoke a sense of opportunity and collaboration for the participants of this network.

Opportunities

Because esports is a new trend with substantial amounts of money behind it, we wanted to address some of the potential issues for young gamers who may be without trustworthy representation. Additionally, we wanted to help identify opportunities for talented players to break into the market. The esports audience has grown considerably due to the efforts of YouTube and Twitch and the promotion of esports competitions. With millions of casual players, thousands of competitor players, and hundreds of elite players, esports has gained such momentum that it has caught the attention of the International Olympic Committee. The estimated audience is expected to grow to 454 million viewers in 2019. In turn, increasing revenues to more than 1 billion dollars.

Ideas
  • A clear path to how players go from amateur to professional “esports pipeline”

  • Clear of sponsors and investors to keep the social network an unbiased source for information

  • A way for participants to have one-on-one conversations with each other

  • The way for participants to organize game-play together online

  • Information on available scholarships, including requirements and links to applications.

  • Library of videos of professional game play,

  • Calendar of eSports events around the world.

  • Protect underage participants from getting taken advantage of

  • LegalZoom network for eSport players… Elegal Zoom?


eSports Career Path Pitch – End-to-End Video Production

This video project was created as a compelling pitch for an eSports platform aimed at helping kids explore professional opportunities in the gaming industry, while also guiding parents through the evolving landscape of gaming as a legitimate career path. I led the entire production from start to finish: conceptualizing the narrative, illustrating visual elements, writing and recording the script, narrating the voiceover, and producing the final video.

The opening scene was personally filmed with the help of my son and wife, adding an authentic and relatable tone right from the start. The goal was to bridge the generational gap—offering parents a clear view of how they can support their child’s passion, while empowering kids to better understand the structure, opportunities, and professional potential within the eSports community. Every frame was crafted with clarity and purpose to deliver both inspiration and insight.

Phishing Awareness Campaign – End-to-End Production

This project was developed to raise awareness about phishing and fraudulent email activity through an engaging and educational approach. I designed the entire production from the ground up—conceptualizing and illustrating the infographic, writing and recording the script, narrating the voiceover, and producing the full video. Every aspect, from visual storytelling to final editing, was handled personally to ensure clarity, consistency, and impact.

This video was created as a promotional piece for Spout—a fast, flexible music collaboration tool for modern creators. From recording with its intuitive console to uploading tracks from any DAW, Spout makes it easy to mix, collaborate, and share music. With built-in tools for latency, gain, input selection, real-time chat, and marketing features, it’s designed to support creators at every step.

I handled the full production—from concept and illustration to scripting, narration, and editing. The opening scene, filmed with help from my wife and son, adds a personal, authentic touch. The goal: highlight Spout’s creative power and help artists connect and collaborate with ease.
